Armani's Pedigree

Ariadus

Armani's sire, Ariadus

Sire: Ariadus (Acord II / Devise II by Latus II)

Armani is by the premium Holsteiner stallion Ariadus, who is known for producing excellent jumpers with superb conformation. Ariadus was 4th at the 1995 stallion approvals in Neumunster where he received a "9" on type and "8's" on both front and hind legs; a score that is rarely seen. He is a Premium rated stallion with 54 bonits. In 2002, Ariadus had more Premium foals in the American Holsteiner Horse Association (AHHA) than any other stallion (based on number of mares bred).

The sire of Ariadus, Acord II is viewed by many as an important contributor in Europe. He was the leading sire for mares bred in Germany after winning many important shows, including Champion at his 100 Day Test. In addition to the stellar bloodlines from his sire, Ariadus' granddam is Folia, an outstanding and famous mare who has produced five approved stallions, including the foundation sire Capitol I.

Armani's pedigree goes back to the legendary Selle Francais stallion Alme Z, who is considered to be one of the most influential jumping sires ever. Alme Z was an international winner in numerous grand prix jumping classes. He is the sire of the world champion Galoubet and the World Cup winner "I Love You", as well as the Zangersheide stallion, Jalisco B. Alme Z was the #1 sire of show jumping broodmares from 1990-1996 and is featured in the pedigrees of the vast majority of top international competition horses.

Lord

Lord, the grandsire of Esther V (aka ''Lifetime'')

Dam: Esther V aka "Lifetime" (Ligorett by Lord / Helena)

The dam of Armani is the Holsteiner mare Lifetime (stamm H3). She was bred and started undersaddle in Germany before being imported to the US. Lifetime competed through Intermediare I, winning numerous awards, SWDC and ABIC Championships, and Horse of the Year Awards, with the talent to go to Grand Prix. In 1997, Lifetime placed second in the USDF Horse Of The Year at First Level in the Open Division. Lifetime was also the 1998 USDF Horse of the Year at Second Level in the Open Division (1st of of 1,461 horses across the nation).

Lifetime's grandsire is the Holsteiner stallion Lord, who won the 1969 Holsteiner stallion approvals. He was one of the early stallions to jump successfully in competition. Lord is the sire of many top international horses, such as Livius, who won the 1980 German Showjumping Derby under Peter Luther, and then team medals at the 1981 European Championships, the World Championships of 1982 and the 1984 Olympic Games. In all, Lord sired more than 60 stallion sons, and his progeny won more than Euro 3,000.000.
